Dear prayer warriors,
Brian had checked in CHLA this afternoon. We are in the hospital room now.
Dr. Gaynon wants to do the chemo with peripheral IV as soon as tonight. And the Picc line will install tomorrow at 1:30pm. Dr. Gaynon wants to help him to stay home to celebrate his 18th birthday.
All the sudden lots of schedule changes to fit the possibility to get home by Sunday his birthday for few days break.
Thanks God, flexibility is one of our family traits.
Thanks Doctors and medical team are so nice to make him happy as much as they can.
We are blessed to have such good doctor to love him so much. We also talked to Dr. Gaynon for lots of details about his treatment plan in the future. We can tell Dr. Gaynon is very sincere to deal Brian's case.
I remember Mark ever asked Dr. Gaynon to cure and treat Brian's disease as for his own son.
Now I really feel Dr. Gaynon really did that way. He wants to find the best way to get rid of the leukemia to make himself happy too. ( This is what he said.)
The plan now is:
The chemo will start tonight at 9pm. till 12am. for the 1st dose.Tomorrow 9 am. till 12pm. for 2nd dose. Repeat this for another day. It means chemo's first part will be done on Friday afternoon.
The day3 to day7 is break time. And 2nd part of chemo will be the same dose at day8 & day9.
Please pray for the best.
1. Chemo successful. No fever. No complication.
2. PICC line installation tomorrow will succeed too .
Thank you.
God bless us all,
Mark & Anita
