Hi everyone,
Greeting from Children Hospital Los Angeles.
Thank you for praying for me. It's me, Brian.
There are many different people come to see me everyday. They are doctors and nurses. They kept asking me some questions like,.... Where are you now? What year is it now? The date & month. Who are the president now? Is lady Gaga the first lady? Ha! What kind of question it is.
My mom tried to test me too after they left. Mom said" since you know Obama is the president now. Then who is the last president? " George W. Bush". Who was the president before it? " Bill Clinton." Great job!", mom said. Let see how you know about the president of the United States. " Who is the 1st president of the USA?" " George Washington". " Good! Who is the 2nd one?" " John Adam.", " the 3rd?" " Thomas Jefferson." Wow! What number is Abraham Lincoln?" " 16". " Amazing!", mom said.
Even though I can do so many. They want to test me more and also train me to do more that I should know.
This morning, the occupational Therapist fed me " Macaroni cheese and lemonade" It tastes good but too hard to chew. I haven't use my own muscle to eat for a long long time. They said I was so sick and weak before. But my function was recovered more and more day by day. I know " in Him nothing is impossible". The OT and PT helped me to sit up and brought me to stand up today. It's the 1st time I can stand ( with help though). Praise the Lord! My muscle and my bone is getting stronger now. They help me open my eye and I can see my mom and my daddy are so happy and proud of what I have done. To you, it's easy to do everything. But to me it's a giant step in my improvement record". My PT, OT,and "speech therapy", they are all so surprise and like my amazing improvement." Mom said," It's God's work and He is still working in you".
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.
Today (2-8-2011 1:30PM) I will have a MRI follow up. I don't like it. It's a noisy and long checking procedure. I need you prayer to help me conquer it. Maybe the OT will bring the rootbeer float to reward me later that they promise me yesterday.
Please keep praying for me. It takes time for my fully recovery. I don't know God's time table. But I do know He will use me to glorify His name through my testimony that I've been asked him for a long time.
I miss you and love you all.
God bless you abundantly,
Brian ( written by mom)
